- Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks
- At the File Menu, click New then select Scheduled Task.
- In the main window, double click on the New Task Icon.
- On the Task tab, click the Run input box and type C:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -t 90. This will initiate Windows to perform a shutdown after 60 seconds.
- On the Schedule Tab click on Schedule Task and then select Once.
- Select Start Time and specify the time you want Windows to execute the shutdown.
- The Set Account Information Pop-up window will appear. On Run As input box , specify your Account or User ID.
- Click on password and specify your password
- Confirm your password then click OK
