Start your facing pages on the left with less work (QuarkXPress)

Starting a facing pages document on the left-facing page can be a hassle. Here's a way to avoid the workaround for starting on a left-facing page—and to prevent the negative effects of shuffling. Don't use facing-page documents. Instead of selecting Facing Pages in the New Document dialog box, simply create one master page for right-facing pages and one for left-facing pages. Then, use the Document Layout palette to place pages side by side.
