An easy trick for ensuring that you specify background and link colors (FrontPage 2003)

If you find yourself forgetting to specify background colors and link colors on your pages, there’s an easy solution: change your browser’s default colors to a palette of lime green, hot pink, and other garish colors. You’ll get an instant and visible reminder each time you preview a new page.

To do this in Microsoft Internet Explorer, choose Tools | Internet Options. Then, switch to the General tab in the Internet Options dialog box and click the Colors button. In the Colors dialog box, deselect the Use Windows Colors check box. Replace the standard colors with garish alternatives.

In Mozilla Firefox, choose Tools | Options. Click the General button in the left pane and then click Fonts & Colors. In the Fonts & Colors dialog box, deselect the Use System Colors check box. Replace the standard colors with garish alternatives.
